The Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere Partnership is a charitable organisation working to support conservation, education, sustainable development and climate resilience in southwest Scotland’s UNESCO Biosphere.

In working to support global Sustainable Development Goals the organisation offers an extensive programme of support for local businesses of all sizes and sectors.

Its flagship is the Biosphere Certification Mark, a trademarked quality scheme which recognises outstanding work in making business and social enterprise good for people and nature.

The Biosphere team works collaboratively with all sectors and sizes of enterprise from sole trader start-ups to companies with international reach, offering accreditations such as the award-winning Biosphere Certification Mark scheme, Sustainable Events Charter, and Biosphere Guides training course, accompanied by an annual calendar of learning and networking opportunities.
