Extended Reality (XR) Learning Tools

Extended Reality (XR) learning tools repurpose virtual tour software into a powerful tool for building educational resources. The process mirrors virtual tour creation but incorporates additional elements such as game mechanics, sound, animation, and quizzes to fully engage users in training and learning experiences.

XR Learning Experiences

Immersive training that delivers measurable results

Our XR learning tools transform real-world environments into immersive, interactive learning experiences that enhance understanding, retention, and performance. By combining virtual tours with proven learning mechanics—interactivity, challenges, feedback, and assessment—we help organisations convert complex knowledge into engaging, outcomes-driven training.

Rather than passive content, we create experiences that learners actively participate in, enabling organisations to:

  • Improve knowledge retention and learner engagement
  • Standardise training across locations or teams
  • Measure learning outcomes and performance improvement
  • Reduce the time, cost, and risk of in‑person training

From Learning Goals to Real‑World Impact

Every XR project starts with a clear focus on your desired outcomes. We work closely with you to define success—whether safer working practices, faster onboarding, improved compliance, or enhanced customer understanding—and design the experience to support those goals. Technology always serves the learning objective, not the other way around.

What You Gain at Each Stage

Shoot & Edit (Stage 1)
Typically takes around one week per one day of shooting.

Strategic consultation and learning design
We align on outcomes through an initial consultation, defining:

  • Learning objectives and success criteria
  • Target audience and engagement approach
  • How progress and improvement will be measured
This collaborative process ensures the final experience directly supports organisational goals.

Safe, efficient environment capture
On‑site capture is planned and delivered with minimal operational disruption. Risk assessment and preparation ensure safe, compliant production, efficient use of time, and capture that supports the learning narrative, resulting in accurate, high‑quality source material.

High‑impact content creation
Captured material is refined into focused learning content by selecting key moments and viewpoints, enhancing clarity through editing and structure, and preparing assets optimised for interactive learning. The emphasis is on clarity, relevance, and learner focus—not visual appeal alone.

Collaborative review and refinement
You review content before finalisation to ensure key messages are clear, the experience accurately reflects your organisation, and learning outcomes are fully supported—delivering confidence and avoiding surprises.

Building the Virtual Tour (Stage 2)
Usually takes around one week. This stage connects 360° panoramas with hotspots and game mechanics to create the interactive learning environment. Content is embedded and mechanics such as timers and scoring systems are activated to enable measurable improvement. Learning Management System (LMS) integration is available on request.

Testing and Publishing
Final virtual tours undergo user testing to ensure intuitive operation and bug resolution. Experiences can be published for multiple use cases, including web‑based VR, immersive VR headset experiences, and Google connectivity.

The Result

A scalable, engaging XR learning experience that delivers clear learning outcomes, engages users emotionally and cognitively, provides insight into learner performance, and adds long‑term value beyond traditional training.
